Deep Over-Bite
Kingsley was grinding his teeth (bruxism) and had developed a severe over-bite. If you examine the before picture, you will see that the sides of his face have bulging masseter muscles, a sure sign of developing TMJ trouble. During Kingsley's initial examination, Dr. Muslin noted that his masseter muscles and temporalis muscles were overdeveloped, a sign that they were doing too much work and that Kingsley had developed serious TMJ issues. Neuromuscular dentistry helps care for TMJ problems, and Kingsley also had functional cosmetic and bite reconstruction dental work; this combination is known as the Dental Face Lift ®.
